R Gallery hosts 2023 Gallery Weekend Retrospective to celebrate a year of artistic achievement

As 2023 draws to a close, Sliema’s R Gallery is taking a moment to reflect on the artistic journey that has defined its narrative over the past year, by hosting a retrospective collective exhibition over this weekend. 

R Gallery is delighted to extend an invitation to “Gallery Weekend | A 2023 Retrospective,” on December 16th and 17th from 1pm to 7pm. This special weekend event will showcase a range of artworks from the following exhibitions: “I Don’t Have A Theory, I Just Have a Feeling”, “AWOL”, “OIKOS LOGIA”, “Event & Being”, “Ja! Ja! Ja!”, “Far Reach”, and “Froġa / Farrago”.

Since its inauguration in September 2022, R Gallery has presented five solo exhibitions and three group shows, fostering a diverse and international platform for both emerging and established artists. The gallery takes pride in championing the creative talents of local Maltese artists while fostering a global artistic dialogue.

R Gallery expresses heartfelt gratitude to its collectors, supporters, patrons, and the talented artists who have contributed to the gallery’s journey over the past year.
