NUCLEUS: A collective watercolour exhibition at the Malta Society of Arts

The Malta Society of Arts is hosting NUCLEUS – An Exhibition by Six Watercolourists, from 11th January to 1st February 2024 in Valletta, making it one of the first exhibitions of the year. This collective exhibition features artists Jeni Caruana, Debbie Caruana Dingli, Anna Galea, Anna Grima, Tonio Mallia, and Kenneth Zammit Tabona, all seeking to inspire the formation of a watercolour community in Malta.

The artists featured in NUCLEUS – An Exhibition by Six Watercolourists are notable for their diverse styles and contributions to the Maltese art scene.

Jeni Caruana is known for her vibrant, nature-inspired works. Debbie Caruana Dingli has a reputation for her expressive portraits. Anna Galea is celebrated for her large-scale, realistic watercolors, while Anna Grima’s work often reflects her love for flora and fauna. Tonio Mallia’s art is characterised by its narrative quality, and Kenneth Zammit Tabona is renowned for his theatrical and whimsical style. Each artist brings a unique perspective to the exhibition, showcasing the versatility of watercolour as a medium.

The exhibition will take place at the Art Galleries of the Malta Society of Arts, Palazzo de La Salle, Valletta. Open weekdays from 9am to 7pm and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm, admission is free.
