About me
Short Bio | Liliya Cauchi (Pangelova) (b.1990) is a Bulgarian visual artist, who lives and works in Malta. After obtaining international qualifications in academic drawing, painting, sculpture, and design, her fascination of the art of glass making brought her to the island of Gozo, where she trained to be a professional glassblower for a number of years. Currently, she is taking her career further into secondary and post-secondary art education after completing her Masters in Teaching and Learning in Arts degree at the University of Malta. Liliya Cauchi’s creative practice resonates with the statement that being a professional means to fully respond in both conceptual and technological dimension to every material and theme. |
