My Point of View: a solo exhibition by Fabio Borg

Renowned for his captivating exploration of the human condition through vibrant hues and intricate brushstrokes and calligraphic lines, Fabio Borg’s collection promises to offer viewers a unique perspective on life and the world around us. Within the depths of Borg’s compositions lie layers of emotions. Through his bold and evocative brushwork, Borg invites viewers to embark on a visual journey that transcends the boundaries of reality and imagination. While his paintings may appear to be landscapes – and indeed, landscapes were the starting point for these paintings – they are not landscapes per se. Captured rapidly, the compositions adequately capture a mood evoked through colour, thus a continuation of his last solo exhibition titled ‘Moodscapes’. In fact, the artist notes that “I describe my work as being spontaneous and abstract! While I am working, I won’t have an idea of what the end result would look like. I try to depict my inner world onto the white canvas.”
