A series of digital queer portraits

The Queer History Series is a collection of thirty digital portraits representing historic queer figures from across the world. The collection was showcased online during the month of June 2020. One portrait was revealed each day. The portraits include James Baldwin, Marsha P Johnson, Audra Lorde, Simon Nkoli, Bayard Rustin, Harvey Milk, Christine Jorgensen, Virginia Woolf, Nancy Cardenas, Touko Valio Laaksonen (Tom of Finland), Alan Turing, Radcliffe Hall, Ifti Nasim, Marlon Riggs, Sarah Hegazi, Tove Jansson, Larry Kramer, Sylvia Riviera, Andy Warhol, Candy Darling, Josephine Baker, Magnus Hirschfeld, Binyavanga Wainaina, Marlene Dietrich, Howard Ashman, Frida Kahlo, Oscar Wilde, Octavia E. Butler, Hector Xtravaganza, and Jean Cocteau.
