Short Bio

Victoria Gatt is a Maltese born, London Based artist, currently in her third and final year studying for a BA in Illustration and Visual Media at University of the Arts, London. Victoria has experimented with a wide range of media throughout her practice, and is currently using a mix of photo-collage, contemporary photography and surrealist illustration to tackle themes such as identity, religion, the female body as well as mental health from an auto-ethnographic perspective. Her work strives to be raw, honest and straight from the heart, while also providing a source of comfort for the viewer. She has also worked with up-and-coming musicians in both the hip-hop and indie music scene, collaborating on album artwork and poster design.
