About me

Short Bio

Born in Sicily and raised most of my life in Malta.

For as long as I can remember, Art was always a part of me.

I grew up watching Japanese Anime on Italian TV channels and reading mangas for the most part. As soon as I knew how to hold a pencil in my hand, I started copying and reinventing with my own style this Japanese artistry.

Throughout the years, I have experimented with different techniques and mediums to express my artistic vision.

I consider myself a self-taught artist, although I attended basic art lessons in my secondary school and did a two-year course at MCAST Art and Design school in Malta.

I progressed my art from still life drawings to abstract paintings, and only recently, took a dive into spontaneous realism portraits.

My artistic inspiration comes from observing and enjoying a myriad of things around me. Artists such as Francois Nelly and Voka, are a true and deep source of inspiration of artistic visionaries.

My preferred mediums of work are acrylic on canvas using brushes, palette knives and other materials. As of late, I am delving into the world of digital art, a world which is intrigues me to further my artistic expression, and yet gives me the opportunity to retain and explore in depth my own style.
