Nikki Zammit ‘Nik’ (nee 2002) hails from Mqabba. From a young age they have been heavily influenced by psychology, mythology and religion; particularly those from the Greek, Roman Catholic, and Hindu traditions, influences which still remain prevalent in their art today. They have a fascination with the feminine divine and derive inspiration from Mother Nature and all her glory. 

Nik considers themself a poet who uses both the pen and the brush to connect themes of the surreal; the unconscious archetypes present as a unifying undercurrent to tradition, as well as the reviving of those archetypes in new light.
