I studied art in my early years at the Convent of the Sacred heart under the guidance of Magaret Chircop. Following secondary school I attended the Art and Design Centre in Valletta while attending the School of Art also in Valletta. During my years studying at the Art and Design centre I was encouraged to experiment and push my boundaries in art, design and materials. I learnt technical drawing, Autocad, product design, woodwork, ceramics, and metalwork. I was tutored by Patrick Galea, Alfred Camilleri, Emanuel Fiorentino and others. During my apprenticeship I followed a career in packaging.

Following my studies at the the Art and Design Centre I undertook a long career in publishing and printed media. In later years I decided to pursue a B.A. Hons Melit. and then an M.A. Melit. within the department of Art History at the University of Malta. My specialisation was History of Architecture under the direction of Prof. Conrad Thake. I refined archival research skills and 3D design skills for the purpose of my studies. My undergraduate thesis was the Quadripartite ribbed roofing systems buildings in Malta dating to the early days of the Order (1530 – c. 1660). My post-graduate thesis was The architectural and spatial dynamics of the Pauline complex Rabat – within the political religious context. I was tutored in fine art by Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci and graduated in 2019.

Currently I teach Design and Technology at Zejtun Middle School.
