I am an American artist from Michigan with a focus on creating sensory story-telling in fiber and fine art. I graduated with a BFA in 2011 and left America to explore the world. Malta is where I’m focusing on developing my work by incorporating more abstraction and complexity into my figurative paintings. I use craft materials such as wool roving, beads and yarn to include texture and interest. The work has different mixtures and ratios of abstract and realism with an emphasis on evoking emotion by story-telling on canvas.
