Here they are, our new team, part of the summer internship program at ARTZ ID. We love sharing what we do with others, giving our interns a space where they can put their ideas and skills into practice, giving them the confidence to pursue their professional goals and dreams. The selection process was based on skill, motivation and creative thinking. Being an avid art lover or involved in the the artistic community is not something we put pressure on, what is really important to us is the drive and motivation to push your ideas to the next level. We are so excited to have Nicole, Fabrizio, Dorianne and Anthea join us this Summer, they all bring different skill sets and a great vibrant energy. Get to know them more below, and stay on the lookout for their work and interventions!
“Throughout my life, my artistic side has been a persistent presence. I consider myself as a digital artist whose main sources of inspiration are my surroundings, past experiences and imagination. As an aspiring visual and mixed-media artists, I specialises in the fields of photography, illustration and graphic design.I identifies my style as bold and colourful, moreover, I also loves to design in a minimal, botanical and simple style as well. Even though I have developed my sense of specific style, my designs and styles are not always bound to it, I allocates a style accordingly, to suit the task at hand. In my work, I strives to merge what I loves doing best into something new by using photography, illustration and graphic design to fashion my ideas into one.I aim to use my creativity as a mind-opener to connect people to their inner artistic sides well as to broaden their horizons to applying art to everyday life through the use of different media.”
“A Jack of all trades, master of none. Nevertheless, still striving to specialize within the vast artistic sector having a keen eye and interest with the ongoing synthesization of our digital lives alongside our base analog one, creating a hypothetical capsule that future generations will see us through.
Working alongside the ARTZ ID team I am looking forward to delving deeper and assisting with the management of the platform, striving to have it be a vital asset for the local scene and beyond.”
Creative, quirky, controversial. These are the words that best describe both my work and me as a person. The creative industry is the path that I want to pursue which is why I took studies in Fine Arts and later found my passion in Graphic Design as I travelled the world. This helped me focus my creativity on a more functional aspect of art and design. Thus, I joined the ARTZ ID as an intern because I support the values and goals of the platform and its potential for the local art community. As well as further expanding my network and experiences as a Graphic Designer in the creative department.
Ever since I was a child, art has helped me express myself better than words ever could. I delved into the arts through dance and musical theatre which now serve as a strong backbone for my creative imagination. I later picked up photography as a way to capture memories not knowing that this would lead me to a journey of self-discovery and growth. I am currently focusing on improving my photography skills as well as enjoying being curious about what this industry can offer. With University being my next milestone, I am excited to continue growing my artistic abilities by studying more about film and script writing.
This ARTZ ID internship will be a challenge for me to try something different which will push me to think outside the box, learn new skills and get a feel of this industry which I have just recently stepped into. I am eager to bring my ideas to the table in order to help continue enlarging this ever-growing community full of other passionate creatives like myself.
