The Mikiel Anton Vassalli College – Malta School of Art will be opening the applications for learners to join our courses for the coming scholastic year (2021-2022) between 26th July and 6th August 2021.

The School of Art currently caters for 500 students ranging from beginners to advanced and specialized courses. With a strong team of over 30 art teachers, the school offers an array of opportunities for any student at any level who would like to delve into the world of visual arts. The school offers accredited courses from MQF Level 1 to MQF Level 4, as well as an opportunity to join the school in a more leisurely manner for those who wish to focus on the enjoyment that art gives.

This year, the school is offering a number of new courses ranging for Studio Practice, Digital Art: portfolio Building, Thematic courses in Printmaking and Sculpture, Stop-motion Animation, Comics, Caricature and Cartooning, Camera-less Photography courses, and Beyond Painting apart from the typical courses offered in Drawing, Painting, Printmaking and Sculpture. Moreover, the course idejArti – Skultura, developed in collaboration with Aġenzija Żgħażagħ, will give the opportunity to youths ages 18 to 30, working in 3 Dimension including sculptural work, installation art and artwork that explores the architectural and spatial dimensions, to get a fully funded summer course in an international Art Institution.

Another great opportunity is presented through the opening on the MQF Level 3 Certificate in Visual Arts specifically addressed towards adult students. Now Adult students 16+ can embark on courses that are accredited and lead to certified qualifications and awards.
