Abstract Trio

“Abstract Trio” collective exhibition features the abstract works from the painters: Louis Casha, Vincent Cassar and Lucio Dubini

This exhibition is part of the initiative managed by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector ‘Art for VOs’and shall be in aid of Nature Trust (Malta).

Information on the painters:
* Vincent Cassar (b.1971 in Attard) started painting in his late thirties. In 2017 he started experimenting with contemporary art mark-making. Each time he makes a mark, with whatever instrument that he can make use of, he feels as if he is pressing a piano key to play music. He composes his artwork by listening to the state of his soul. It is his freedom that he documents using no rules. Just him and his marks.

* Louis Casha (b.1946 in Rabat) started painting in the late sixties and since then he participated in many important collective exhibitions and had four solo exhibitions to date. Casha’s abstractions are inspired by nature, archaeology, and geometry. Leading local art critics described Casha’s works as archaeographics, poetic, lyrical & symbolic. The collection being exhibited here is a mix of abstract expressionistic paintings & geometric works.

* Lucio Dubini (b,1973 in Milan) is an Italian abstract painter and sculptor living in Malta. His works are characterized by playful interactions of lines, shapes and material. The inspiration comes from the liveliness of everyday life, nature and his surroundings. After his latest colorful solo exhibition in Valletta, he now presents his black and white original paintings collection.
