Walks in Prijedor

The origins of this project started from a visit to Prijedor, Bosnia & Herzegovina, as a tourist accompanied by locals, as we were visiting various landmarks and walking around in the centre of the town, in between coffees and beers. This was documented through photography, as part of a long time fascination with how the daily life occurs in different places. These photographs were later developed into various compositions focusing on architectural elements, and their manipulation, highlighting aspects of the town which were personally found to be striking. These developed into 18 designs, printed in the traditional silk screen manner, to allow the geometric features to be highlighted.
