Behind closed doors

Amid the pandemic I ventured to a silent Valletta, void of the crowds yet abundant of silent beauty. My eyes fell on the closed, padlocked, at times even barred doors of the city. Doors that stowed away the restoration of alas abandoned buildings, dormant businesses and everyday life.
