All of us who once stared into a dark forest know that our eyes and ears play tricks on us. We see and hear things in the shadows that are not really there. The illusion of faces, animals or maybe trolls is created by random compositions of branches, reflections and light seeping through the foliage. This time, there was no man high up in the pine trees.
