Kill me was inspired by recent unpleasant murderous events that are taking over this small island. It mainly refers to the increasing murders of women. The drawing was initially conceived as a profile study for a large painting. On the other hand, the painting is inspired by War, what lovely times we are living in indeed. Yet, these callous events overtook my study approach. Thus I wrote KILL ME! One can only hope this anxiety-triggering situation comes to an end as soon as possible.
