A new exhibition space in the heart of Mqabba

A new exhibition space is about to open its doors for the artistic community, in the very heart of Mqabba, Malta.  ‘Il-Kamra ta’ fuq’ is a newly refurbished exhibition space located in the centre of this traditional Maltese village, on top of  ‘New Life Bar’ known to be a gathering place for the village community. This is definitely music to our ears knowing how much the artistic community is in need of such spaces. The particular set up and intimacy of the space  places the artwork in a very particular setting, creating an instant connection between the work and its audience.

Antoine Farrugia, a well renowned artist , who runs ‘ New Life Bar’ in Mqabba teams up with Curator Melanie Erixon, founder of Art Sweven, providing a new exhibition space for fellow artists, hosting regular exhibitions.
